PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Fitting new front door & removing the old one.

Old front door, Wood has buckled after years allowing drafts of cold air in. Single glazing was another issue. Removing door and frame was straight forward. To fit new frame we had to add a layer of bricks to the side. We used a wall starter kit to help with bricking up. After bricks were in place and mortar set we removed extra supports and positioned new frame with concrete screws. After frame was properly leveled we used an expanding foam to fill all the gaps between frame and bricks. Last job was to attach new door to the frame and silicone around the frame to complete the task.
